My favorite baby gift for Luca was a deliciously soft cashmere blanket that we took with us around the world. When it disappeared from a hotel room, it was replaced by another equally soft silk blanket that I loved as much as I loved Luca. No joke. Once again, gone in a hotel room, this time in Morocco.
