So here is a good news for those who have been waiting for untethered
jailbreak for iOS 4.3.4 and higher firmwares. Today p0sixninja from
Chronic Dev-Team announced that he has found 5 bootrom exploits for A5
chip that is installed in iPad2 and is expected to be installed in the
upcoming iPhone5. So it means he will be able to untethered jailbreak
iOS5.
This announcement was made by him on MyGreatFest the first
international convention about jailbreaking. A brief about bootrom
exploit, it is the point with which the device will be jailbreakable for
the lifetime. Apple will not be able to stop jailbreaking with software
update but only with hardware replacement. So it is in iPad and in
iPhone5.
There is only need to test these exploits on iPhone5, and if the
exploits are successful, then they will be able to successfully
untethered jailbreak iPhone5 for the whole life. The exploits were discovered by the Chronic Dev Team. A key member of the team itself namely: P0d2g, found exploits like 24kpwn, steaks4uce and also discovered an exploit in the Apple A4 chip, used in iPhone 4, original iPad and iPod touch 4G. pod2g and p0sixninja are members of the Chronic Dev Team, who were the key developers/hackers behind the famous jailbreak tool Greenpois0n, which back then was the only method available to jailbreak iOS 4.2.1 completely untethered.0
One more interesting thing about this jailbreak is that you will not
need to have any extra software. But you will need only to open safari
and jailbreak your iPhone5. And one more thing by him is that it will be
the most amazing jailbreak.
